Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum offers condolences to the family of non-commissioned officer Saif Youssef Ahmed Al Falasi (Wam)
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday extended condolences to the family of non-commissioned officer, Saif Youssef Ahmed Al Falasi, who died while performing his national duty as part of the Armed Force's involvement in Operation Restoring Hope, being carried out by the Arab coalition to back the people and legitimate government of Yemen.
During a visit to the family home in Dubai's Al Warqaa area, Sheikh Maktoum stressed that the sacrifices of loyal Emiratis for the protection of the security of Arab societies are a source of pride for all Emiratis.
Their sacrifices, he added, will always bear witness to the country's commitment to defending its brothers, and proof of the bravery of Emiratis to never hesitate to answer the call of duty and sacrifice their lives for the country and its assets and gains.
Sheikh Maktoum prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the martyr with mercy in Paradise and give his family strength and solace.
Earlier, the UAE buried her son Saif Yousuf Ahmad Al Falasi, martyred while performing his duty within the national forces involved in ‘Restoring Hope’ to the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Yemen.

Al Falasi was buried in Al Qusais cemetery in Dubai on Tuesday evening, 'Al Bayan' reports, after prayers in the mosque in Warqaa 4, in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development. A large number of officers and personnel of the armed forces and several citizens from all over the UAE were present.
The brother, wife and mother of the martyr were also present.
'Al Bayan' reports that the martyr has five children, aged between 10 years and two (seen here below).
Earlier, the body of Al Falasi arrived onboard a military plane of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence at the Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi.
Non-commissioned officer of the UAE Armed Forces, Al Falasi was martyred while performing his national duty as part of the Armed Forces' involvement in operation 'Restoring Hope’ being carried out by the Saudi-led Arab coalition to back the legitimate government of Yemen.
A number of senior Armed Forces officers and non-commissioned officers accompanied Al Falasi's body to the airport.
