Firefighters in action at the site of a fire in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Police and civil defence teams put out a fire in a building under construction on Khaleej Al Arabi Street near Al Maqta in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
The fire broke out at about 12.30pm. No one was injured.
Lieutenant Colonel Saeed Al Rashedi of Abu Civil Defence said: “We cleared the roads leading to the scene of the accident to ensure the timely arrival of firefighters. The fire was contained in a professional way and investigations are underway to determine the circumstances of the fire.”
