Free parking in Dubai from until September 2

Motorists in Dubai can park their vehicles free of charge from Sunday until September 2. However, Fish Market parking lots will not be free, according to media reports.

"With the exception of the Fish Market parking lots,  all paid parking lots will be free all over the emirate of Dubai from tomorrow, and normal fees will be resumed on September 3," Dr Aisha Al Busmait, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication, RTA, was quoted as saying by 'Khaleej Times'.

Meanwhile, in Abu Dhabi, Mawaqif announced parking would be free through Eid holidays, starting from August 30 until September 2.

Mawaqif also said its offices would be shut during Eid except its centre in the central market, which will remain open from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm.

Dubai buses from public transport stations, including the main stations such as Gold Souk, Al Ghubaiba and Al Satwa will run from 6am to 12 midnight, seven days a week. At sub-stations such as Al Qusais and Al Quoz Industrial Area, it will be from 6am 12 midnight. Services from  Jebel Ali and Hor Al Anz stations between 6am and 10pm, seven days a week.
