Hamdan welcomes participants at the 11th Dubai International Sports Conference

Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed participants at the 11th Dubai International Sports Conference.

The event is a subsidiary of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and will be held on the 27th and 28th of December 2016. Dubai Sports Council organizes the annual conference, held this year under the theme “Governance in Modern Football”.

International professional experts, local clubs and sport elites will meet to discuss the issue of Governance in Modern Football and learn from the successful experiences.

Sheikh Hamdan said: “By organizing this global event, Dubai Sports Council aims developing UAE’s football sector and supporting the efforts to confront the challenges in all sports and most particularly football.

The conference will discuss successful international experiences and practices and provide an opportunity to exchange views with advanced federations and clubs”.

Deputy Chairman of Dubai Sports Council Mater Al Tayer expressed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his unlimited support and directives that have contributed to developing sports field in general and this conference in particular.
