Dubai Police has invited members of the public to identify a man who was drowned in the sea near a beach on Friday.
According to the police, the dead man is an Asian in his thirties.
The dead man’s body was transferred to the Department of Forensic Medicine for ascertaining the cause of death.
No one has so far reported to the police about anyone missing.
Lieutenant Abdullah Al Mazyood urged anyone who has information about the dead person to call the ports police station on 04-34 59 999 or the police call centre on 901.
