Indian wins raffle to become Dubai’s ‘Millennium Millionaire’

Farhaan Arman, an Indian based in Bangalore, is the latest name to join the list of Dubai Duty Free’s millionaires. His ‘Millennium Millionaire’ ticket was drawn on Tuesday at Dubai Airport.

The 31-year-old Arman  couldn’t believe he won, saying: “This is one of the best things that ever happened to me. Thanks to Dubai Duty Free for my lucky win!”

Dubai Duty Free also conducted a ‘Finest Surprise’ draw directly after the Millennium Millionaire was announced, with winners driving home a luxury car and a motorbike.

Muhammad Sheraz, a 29-year-old businessman from Nawabshah, Pakistan won a BMW 750Li xDrive M Sport.

While a sports Ducati Monster 821 was won by Mark Ruddock, a British national living in Dubai.

The Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion was launched in June 1999 and to date, it has produced 239 winners.

There are total of 114 Indians in the list of the Dubai Duty Free millionaires.
