The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has announced the full closure of Khalifa Park to the public from October 1 until the second half of November 2013, in order to carry out maintenance works, ensure the readiness of public utilities throughout the park and further enhance the highest standards of service in order to nurture a healthy and safe environment for park goers.
The Municipality declared that the Murjan Splash Park will however remain open to visitors during this period.
According to officials, the closure is part of the regular maintenance plan of public facilities in the park in order to maintain the standards of safety and security at the highest levels and uplift the calibre of services on offer.
