Mamzar Beach to have 2 women-only days

Women-only days have been introduced on Al Mamzar Beach, the Dubai Municipality has announced.

From October 22, Mondays and Wednesdays will be ladies-only days on Al Mamzar Beach located near the Sharjah border.

This decision comes after the women-only day was cancelled on Jumeirah Park Beach due to construction work for the Dubai Canal Project this week, a move which will eventually be followed by complete closure of this beach.

Due to cancellation of Ladies Day on Jumeirah Park Beach as well as increasing demand from the public for women-only days in Al Mamzar Park, a study was conducted and Dubai Municpality has responded with the allocation of two ladies-only days at this beach, said Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Awadi, Director of Public Parks and Horticulture.
