An unidentified man died in an accident on Emirates Road in front of Global Village early on Tuesday.
According to a Dubai Police press release, the man lost control over his vehicle after its tyre burst and it struck a truck. The truck fell on its side after the collision.
No other casualties were reported in the accident.
