Bottles of alcoholic beverages found in the house of the man arrested in Ras Al Khaimah.
An Asian man was arrested in Ras Al Khaimah with 676 bottles of liquor in his possession.
Police from Al Mamoora Police Station said the man did not have any identification papers. He has been held on charges of trying to sell different types of alcoholic drinks.
The head of the police station, Colonel Salim Al Zaabi told Emarat Alyoum newspaper that the station had received information about the presence of a man selling alcohol.
The police kept the arrested man under watch, prepared an ambush and caught him red-handed while selling alcoholic beverages.
Al Zaabi said police found 676 bottles of alcoholic beverages in the arrested man’s home.
