Man steals jewellery from an empty Sharjah house

Criminal Investigation Department of Sharjah has arrested a Pakistani man on suspicion of stealing jewellery from the safe of a vacant house.

Sharjah Police received a communication from the owner of the house stating that an unknown person had broken into his house. There were closets of metal owned by the deceased mother of the home owner. The robber cut the closet and stole jewellery and other stuff.

Security team was formed to keep track of the crime, which came to know that a Pakistani national was trying to smuggle a quantity of gold jewellery. He was arrested as he tried to ship gold and jewellery to his country through AH Shipping offices in Sharjah.

The accused admitted stealing gold from the home with the help of two partners who have already left the country.

The accused have been arrested and the case was forwarded to the Attorney General of Sharjah.
