One killed, 14 injured across several accidents in Dubai

Over the past few days, there had been several accidents throughout Dubai, which saw one person was killed and 14 others injured.

According to Dubai Police, a man was killed on Emirates Road last Friday at 3.30am  when his vehicle collided with a truck near the Al Maktoum Airport.

The accident saw three others suffer injuries, reported Arabic daily, ‘Al Bayan’.

Earlier at 2am on the same day, another accident occurred at International City when a car hit a man riding a bicycle.

Another accident followed at 5.15am at Dubai Media City when a SUV collided with a bicycle, which caused the bike-rider to suffer severe injuries.

On Saturday evening, another man was severely injured when he was run over behind the Iranian Consulate.

The chain of crashes continued into Sunday morning when two buses collided at an intersection near the graveyard, with many sustaining injuries.
