Petrol shortage continues in Sharjah

Motorists continued to face difficulties as some petrol stations in Sharjah are still short of fuel, reported 'Khaleej Times'.

Mohammed Ammar was turned away from a Enoc station in Muliha Road around 1pm on Monday. “If this is going to be a regular problem, then they must inform us using radio or other media about the timings and dates of the shortage to save time and fuel,” he said.

Manager of the station refused to give any clarification about the situation, saying it was very confidential.

Manager of Eppco station on Emirates Road before the Sharjah Airport exit said there was shortage for the whole day. “We just received a minimum amount of fuel by 2pm and it will finish by around 8pm today. And now there is a bit of rush on our station.”

However, there is shortage at Emarat stations. An Enoc station on Emirates Road, meanwhile, denied any fuel shortage at the outlet. “We never had any fuel shortage in here,” the manager at the station said.
