Some of the vehicles seized by Sharjah traffic police in Dhaid recently.
The Traffic and Patrols Department of Sharjah Police has seized 29 vehicles in Dhaid in the last week of September for violation of traffic rules.
The campaign against violators was launched by the traffic police in August and covered all regions and towns in the emirate of Sharjah.
The campaign focused on noisy vehicles, reckless driving, unlawful additions to vehicles and performing stunts on the road.
Traffic and Patrols Department of Sharjah Police called on the public to respect the rights of others on the road and to follow traffic rules strictly. It said no one will be excluded from prescribed penalties.
It also called on parents and guardians to co-operate in reducing traffic offences committed by youngsters.
