'Sleeping beauty' dies after weeks in coma

A beauty product presenter died a horrible death after she got an unlicensed person to inject fillers in her backside. 

After the unlicensed clinician gave the woman a cosmetic filler injection, the 33-year-old woman fell unconscious.  The woman's brain did not receive oxygen for some time and she went into coma, reports Yourhealth.com.sg.

The technician surrendered and told the police that he was not certified to do the procedure. 

The woman has been in coma since September 18 and was finally taken off the ventilator after her vital stats and blood pressure dropped drastically and she was declared brain dead. 

Doctors told the website that the woman died as a result of brain damage which was caused by a swelling and lack of oxygen which led to the death of brain cells.
