Dubai Police has been tweeting animated short-films that encourages children to “say no to strangers”.
In the 15-second video, a little boy is seen sitting outside his school when a stranger drives up to him, and coaxes him to ride with him.

“If you want me to drop you, I could,” he announces when the boy responds, “I don’t know you so why will I come with you?”
“It’s OK I will drop you,” the man insists, to which the boy screams, “Go away or I will call the police.”
This scares the man, and he quickly drives off.

In June, they had released a 17-minute animated short, where a young child is warned against accompanying an older child into the bathroom.
These videos series are part of the child protection campaign that the Dubai police has launched in the light of the gruesome murder of eight-year-old Obaida Ebrahim Al Aqrabawi by a 48-year-old man.
