Teenager kills brother with nail clipper

A 15-year-old Yemeni killed his elder brother with a nail clipper by stabbing him many times in the neck and other parts of his body following a dispute, the Arabic language media network Sahafaonline reported on Saturday.

The boy, apparently suffering from mental illness, gave himself up to the police after murdering his brother in the southwestern province of Jazan, it said.

Hospital examination of the body showed it was stabbed with a nail cutter many times in the neck and the chest, leading to his death a few hours later.

“This boy is clearly suffering from mental problems as his record shows he has visited many psychiatric clinics in the area,” said Lt-Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Zahrani, Jazan police spokesman.
