Traffic Alert: Crash on Sharjah to Dubai highway, near SZR

An accident has been reported on Al Ittihad Road towards Dubai - after the Salik gate before the Al Mamzar exit, according to a Dubai Police tweet.

Another accident was spotted on the road parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road behind Rotana tower [see pix]

Slow moving traffic was reported earlier today on Sheikh Zayed Road after World Trade Center, at the tunnel going towards Abu Dhabi.

Motorists were advised to be extra cautious and consider taking alternative routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Currently there are no updates on how many cars are involved or if there are any casualties.
