The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has urged travellers who registered for the Electronic Ports’ Project [(e-gate) to cut the time spent going through the country's ports.

Major Mohammad Al Zaabi, Director of MoI's e-Port Project said that GCC nationals, residents, as well as visitors and their family members who have an entry visa, can benefit  from the speedy travel procedures at the country’s ports of entry and exit.

He noted that the state-of-the-art system provides the highest levels of security and convenience for all travelers.

Al Zaabi will speak on the e-gate service in a live radio broadcast on Thursday as part of the 'Security Glances' awareness campaign organised by the Security Media Department of the General Secretariat of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
