Which is the coldest place in the UAE?

As the UAE sets into winter season, the temperatures are expected to drop significantly. In fact, 10.1 degrees was recorded in Raknah, near Al Ain, the lowest temperature in the last six months, according to the National Centre Of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

The Emirates will witness some medium-high clouds the next few days and slight rains, however no heavy showers are forecast. 

It is cold in the UAE, but it is not colder than other years. The temperatures are completely normal for this time of the year, according to the NCMS.

In neighbouring Oman the south-east coast will witness a storm for the next 48 hours.

The storm is not likely to affect the UAE in any way, and the NCMS therefore did not mention any irregularities in its forecast.

It does, however, emphasise that there is a very stormy sea, and this will remain so until Friday.
