Wimbledon champion holidays in Dubai

Petra Kvitova took a break from her busy schedule to holiday in Dubai and participated in the UAE National Sports Day activities.

The two-time Wimbledon champion stayed at Madinat Jumeirah with her family for almost a week and enjoyed the beach and nice temperatures.

Petra also participated in sporting activities organised at Madinat Jumeirah’s private beach where guests and colleagues had the opportunity to engage while playing football, beach volleyball and beach tennis.

She said: "It has been an amazing opportunity for me and my family to be able to spend time together relaxing at Madinat Jumeirah and exploring all Dubai has to offer. It was fun to take part in the UAE National Sports Day activities and encourage guests and colleagues at the resort to keep an active lifestyle.”

The Czech Republic Number One led her team to their fourth Fed Cup title in five years against Russia in Prague in December.
