The Information Office of the Government of Dubai celebrated yesterday the success of the 11th session of the "Arab Media Forum" and "The Arab Journalism Award" -  two most prominent Middle East events organised by the Dubai Press Club.

Ahmad Abdullah Al Shaikh, Director-General of Information Office, Government of Dubai, expressed his pleasure on the success of the 11th session of the Arab Media Forum.

He added: "This success puts on our shoulders a great responsibility towards organising the best and the most distinctive events in the coming years, both in terms of form or content."

"Next year we will have a new challenge in selecting the right topics that will genuinely focus on the concerns of the media industry in the Arab World. However, such challenges will help maintain the high standards of the events," said Al Shaikh.

He stressed that everyone should maintain the same level of excellence and responsibility in event preparations and uphold the spirit of team work.

Ahmad Al Shaikh congratulated the Dubai Press Club team for their ability and excellence in organising events of this magnitude.
