Dubai Crown Prince receives UAE Flag from Sharjah Crown Prince

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Sunday received the UAE flag from Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, at Union House, Jumeirah, in line with the Flag Procession Initiative, in which the UAE flag tours the seven Emirates.

Sheikh Hamdan, along with Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC), Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health, Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, and a number of senior dignitaries, received the Flag Procession which had travelled from Sharjah, led by the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

The procession initiative set off originally from the emirate of Fujairah, with the object of touring the seven emirates in seven days.

The procession will reach the capital, Abu Dhabi, today (December 2, 2013) where it will be finally received by General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Force at a special ceremony on the Abu Dhabi Breakwater in the presence of the Crown Princes of all the emirates.
