Eida website attracts 7.5m visitors in 9 months

The Emirates Identity Authority (Eida) has announced that its website attracted about 7.5 million visits during the first nine months of this year, registering a growth of 140 per cent compared to the same period of 2011, which recorded about 3.1 million hits.

Statistical data issued by the Emirates Identity Authority until September end showed large turnout of dealers at its website, which led to  doubling of the number of visitors.

Eida attributed the rise in the number of visits to its electronic services and links provided by dealers, the most important of which were the electronic form and registration procedures and table extended and dates of registration, in addition to the link ‘service query demand.’
