Mohamed meets US Secretary John Kerry

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received this evening at Al Bahr Palace Saudi Foreign Minister Adil Al Jubair, who is currently visiting the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Al Jubair and discussed with him ways to develop relations between the two brotherly countries.

The two sides exchanged views on the current developments, as well as regional and international efforts aimed at political solutions to guarantee the region's security and stability.

Also reviewed were the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's efforts in the Operation: Restoring Hope in Yemen and its role in confronting challenges and sustaining stability, security and development in Yemen.
The meeting also touched on the Syrian crisis latest developments and the outcomes of recent meetings, aimed at ending the Syrian crisis.

Sheikh Mohamed and Al Jubair discussed the two countries' active role in fighting terrorism and confronting the terrorist groups seeking to undermine regional stability with their twisted methods and thought.

Also discussed were issues of mutual interest.

General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs (ZHO), Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the President's Representative, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi receives US Secretary of State

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received US Secretary of State John Kerry and members of the delegation accompanying him on a current visit to the UAE.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed Kerry's visit and discussed with him the excellent friendship and cooperation relations between the UAE and the United States.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed spheres of co-operation and strategic partnerships between the two countries and ways of bolstering and promoting them to serve the interests of the two countries and their peoples.

During the meeting which was attended by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, the two parties also discussed the most important regional issues and exchanged their views about them.

The crown prince of Abu Dhabi was briefed by the US Secretary of State on the outcome of the recent Vienna talks about the crisis in Syria as well as Washington's contacts with its allies about ideas and solutions to this political, security and humanitarian crisis.

The discussions also took in the efforts being made by the global coalition to counter extremism and terrorism.

In this regard, the two sides stressed the importance of co-ordination, co-operation and consultation about intensifying efforts to fight terrorist organisations through effective mechanisms that can achieve their goals.

The two sides also stressed the importance of continued support for regional efforts, in particular in in Syria, Yemen, Libya and the peace process in the Middle East as well as the international efforts to establish the pillars of security and stability in the region and the world.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ali Mohammad Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA), Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Barbara A. Leaf, Ambassador of the United States to the UAE, and a number of officials.

Appoints Chairman of Abu Dhabi Human Resources Authority

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has issued a resolution assigning Ali Rashid Kannas Al Ketbi to carry out the duties of Acting Chairman of the Human Resources Authority of the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
