His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the final day of the Arabian Purebred Camel Racing of Al Marmoum Ramadan third annual Festival, which was held on Monday evening at Al Marmoum racecourse.
Accompanying Sheikh Mohammed at the races were Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Chairman of Dubai Club for camel racing, patron of the festival, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Several other senior officials, camel owners and a large number of racing fans were also present.
The "Peace", owned by Obeid Salman Al Dosary came first in the first half and won Dh1 million and the Golden Cup.
