Mohammed bin Rashid attends Royal Ascot

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai witnessed victories of Godolphin’s team for this year’s Royal Ascot in England.

Sheikh Mohammed, along with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, attended the second day of this British royal festival which is deemed one of the oldest and most famous horse races in the world. The second day of the festival witnessed a very exciting competition as the UAE horses have been able to achieve the lead in three races.

The UAE Vice President received the award from Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, amidst applause from the audience on the remarkable achievement of the Godolphin team.

Royal Ascot 2016 is taking place this week (from Tuesday June 14 to Saturday June 18) as many of the world's top trainers, jockeys and horses bid for glory at Britain's most valuable race meeting.
