Mohammed meets Japanese businessmen

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met several Japanese officials and businessmen with whom he discussed the historical friendship between the people of the UAE and the Japanese people.

Sheikh Mohammed asserted the keenness of the UAE leadership, government and people to enhance these relations for the mutual benefit of both countries’ peoples.

 On the second day of his visit to Japan, Sheikh Mohammed also toured the Japanese capital Tokyo where he acquainted himself with some of the major tourist attractions and commercial markets. He was warmly welcomed by the Japanese people who greeted him in the traditional Japanese way.

During his tour, Sheikh Mohammed familiarised himself with the Japanese society’s lifestyle, folklore, culture and Japanese cuisine, expressing his admiration for the culture and tradition of Japan, which reflect the civilization of this people, who faced the challenges and achieved prosperity and industrial and technological development in the various fields thanks to their perseverance and determination.
