Sheikh Mohammed received Trucial Oman Scouts at Meydan Racecourse Stand, Nad Al Sheba, on Saturday. Also present was Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum (WAM)
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received on Saturday at Meydan Racecourse Stand, Nad Al Sheba, a group of Trucial Oman Scouts.
The delegation includes three senior British officers who served in the 1960s in the UAE before the federation was established.
Sheikh Mohammed and the Scouts recalled in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, fond memories.
Led by Lieutenant-General John MacMillan, the officers said they were proud of the time they spent in service of the UAE which left pleasant impression and unforgettable memories.
They said their relations with UAE people were characterised with simplicity and mutual respect.
Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a number of senior officials were present at the meeting.
