President confers First Class Order of Zayed II to French Ambassador

The President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has bestowed the First Class Order of Zayed II upon Alain Azouaou, France's Ambassador to the UAE, in appreciation of his efforts, during his tenure, which contributed to promoting and bolstering friendship and cooperation between the UAE and France in all spheres.

The Order was presented on behalf of the President by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, when he received Azouaou at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated Ambassador Azouaou on receiving the honour and expressed his wishes for success for his future assignments.

The departing French ambassador expressed his thanks for Sheikh Khalifa and hailed His Highness' prudent policy and prominent regional and international role.

Azouaou also thanked UAE officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in particular, for their cooperation which contributed to the success of his assignment in the country.
