President receives Emir of Kuwait's note

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a note from Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, dealing with relations between the two sisterly countries and issues of mutual concern.

This comes in the framework of the consultation and coordination between the leadership of the two countries for the benefit of the two people.

President Sheikh Khalifa received the envoy of the Emir of Kuwait, Deputy Minister of Emiri Diwan Affairs, Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, who called on today in Al Ain and delivered him the letter.

Present at the meeting were Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region.

UAE President extended his greetings to Sheikh Sabah, wishing him good health, continuing progress and prosperity for the Kuwaiti people under its wise leadership.

Among those who attended the meeting included Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Under Secretary of the Court of the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, Kuwaiti Ambassador to UAE Salah Mohammed Al Baijan, a number of officials, members of the accompanying delegation of the Emir of Kuwait's envoy.

Sheikh Ali Jarrah arrived in the UAE earlier today on a short visit and was received and seen off by Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, ambassador of Kuwait and a number of officials in the country.
