Man found dead in a car in Al Ain

Forensic tests have revealed no foul play in the death of an Emirati whose body was found lying in a car in Al Ain.

Khaleej Times quoted a senior police official as saying that the 24-year-old man, who was found dead in a car near Al Basra Park, died of natural causes.

Police found the body following a tip off received by Al Maqam Police Station, however, when subjected to close examination and tests no traces of injury or resistance was found, said Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Emeimi, Director of Al Ain Police Directorate.

The corpse was found sprawled on the rear seat of the car, which was then shifted to Al Ain Hospital for postmortem.

Investigations conducted by the Al Ain Police identified the body as of an Emirati man.

Al Emeimi was quoted by Khaleej Times as saying that the forensic doctor’s report spotted no traces of injury or resistance in the deceased’s body. A blood sample taken from the corpse detected no traces of narcotics or poison.

“He died owing to an ailment,” he confirmed.
