Mohamed bin Zayed salutes martyrs

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has paid homage and saluted the UAE's martyrs and armed forces heroes who died in the line of duty during 'Operation Restoring Hope', under the Arab alliance to support the people of Yemen and their legitimate government.

''A dear galaxy of our sons sacrificed their souls on this great today, decorating their nation, and families with medals of pride and glory. The duty of these martyrs will remain a shining example in the history of our nation,'' Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said on his Twitter account.

''Sacrifices of our heroes make us feel more proud about the UAE's historic stance with it sister Saudi Arabia in driving back the aggression off Yemen and the region,'' HH tweeted, stressing that the UAE is breathing new life with the sacrifices of its martyrs, who the nation holds in its heart with pride and dignity for their heroism and dedication.

He emphasised that the UAE’s heroes will pursue their quest to remove injustice befallen on their Yemeni brethren.

''Clearing Yemen from the aggressive, rebellious militias which ran amok is a target that we will not be distracted from,'' Sheikh Mohamed stressed.

''We salute our martyrs with reverence and gratitude for their immortal sacrifice which will be, with Allah's aid, crowned with victory whose signs are appearing on the horizon. On this blessed day, we pray to the Almighty Allah to grant their souls rest in paradise and bestow patience and solace upon us and upon their families,'' Sheikh Mohamed said in conclusion of his tweet.
 
Condolences from King of Morocco

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a telephone call on Friday evening, from His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, during which he offered his sincere condolences on the martyrdom of a number of Emirati servicemen participating in the Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.

King Mohammed expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government, people of the UAE, and to the families of martyrs. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant the martyrs' souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace on their families.

For his part, Sheikh Mohamed thanked the King of Morocco for his fraternal and noble feelings.

Condolences from Arab leaders on UAE martyrs

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, last evening received telephone calls from kings and leaders of Arab countries, expressing their heartfelt condolences on the death of the Emirati soldiers who died in the line of duty during 'Operation Restore Hope', under the Arab alliance to support the people of Yemen and their legitimate government.

Sheikh Mohamed receives condolences over the phone from HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, HM King Abdullah II of Jordan, Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Saudi Crown Prince, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Saudi Crown Prince, and Khaled Bahah, Vice-President of Yemen.

The Arab leaders expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government and people of the UAE and to the families of martyrs and prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the martyrs' souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.

Sheikh Tamim offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government and people of the UAE and to the families of martyrs and prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the martyrs' souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.

For his part, Sheikh Mohamed thanked the Emir of Qatar for his fraternal, noble feelings.

Condolences from Egyptian president


Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, this evening received a telephone call from Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, during which he expressed his heartfelt condolences on the death of the Emirati soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defence of Yemen, its territorial integrity and safety of its people.

President al-Sisi prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the martyrs' souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.

''The UAE martyrs set a wonderful example of bravery and defence of the Arab territories and affirmed the meaning of sacrifice and dedication which should be spectacular characteristics of Arab soldiers when they defend their land and homeland and safeguard Arab values,'' he stressed.

For his part, Sheikh Mohamed thanked the Egyptian president for his fraternal, noble feelings.
