A plane crashes into a Melbourne home killing the pilot and injuring the woman in the house today, after the brave pilot successfully navigated the plane away from the busy shopping district and a children’s playground.

The single-engine light aircraft landed on a home bursting into flames, according to the Daily Mail.

Witnesses were quoted as saying the plane’s engine stalled just before it began to descend out from the sky. They are all praise for the pilot’s presence of mind for steering the plane away from the power lines and the busy neighbourhood.

The woman in the house escaped with minor injuries, while the blaze damaged two vehicles apart from setting part of the house on fire.
