Rains lashed parts of the UAE on Tuesday, with the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) predicting rains for the rest of the week too.

Dubai has been experiencing unstable weather conditions over the past week, with forecasters reckoning that this will continue over today, tomorrow and the day after.

It has been raining in new Dubai and parts of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain this morning (Wednesday), with the NCMS weather forecast for the day confirming that the country will continue to witness sporadic downpour.
“Cloudy to partly cloudy weather at times,” reads the forecast, “with chance of rain from time to time over some areas.”
Motorists are being advised to maintain caution as roads become slippery and braking distances of vehicles increases in wet weather conditions.

“Winds will be moderate in general, fresh at times, causing blowing dust over the open areas. The relative humidity will increase over the internal areas during night and early morning,” the NCMS forecast for UAE continues.
“It’s May 1 but it still feels like winter,” said a DIFC executive in comments emailed to Emirates 24|7 this morning. “The view from my window is fantastic,” he said.
The weather has remained partly cloudy in most areas, with intermittent sunshine and drizzling punctuating an otherwise windy weather conditions.
Scattered clouds are being reported in Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah and neighbouring areas.
The mercury is expected to dip to 15˚C in internal areas today, with a maximum high of 33˚C. Coastal areas will see temperatures sliding to 20˚C while a high of 31˚C is expected in such towns. The country’s mountainous regions, on the other hand, will see a low of 19˚C and a high of 24˚C, but these areas are expected to bear the brunt of the unstable weather pattern.
