Man finds Dh17,000 in chicken box; returns it

A Saudi man found around SR17,000 (Dh17,000) in a chicken box he bought from a local shop and later discovered it was the life’s savings of an expatriate shop worker.

The man has just returned home in the northern town of Arar and opened the chicken box when he found the money wrapped in a piece of cloth.

“He went to the police and reported the money…police later found that it belongs to an expatriate worker in that shop and that it was his life savings,” ‘Alriyadh’ daily said.
