Man's severed hand restored in Saudi surgery

A Saudi man restored his severed hand in a successful eight-hour surgery performed at a specialized hospital in the Gulf Kingdom, the press reported on Wednesday.

The man was rushed to King Khaled Hospital in the northwestern town of Tabuk after losing his left hand in a work accident, they said.

A team of surgeons performed the operation which allowed the man to use his hand normally after a few days, they said.
