UAE Rulers condole Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz

The Saudi Royal Court on Thursday night announced that Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Supervisor of Foreign Affairs, passed away in the US.

Meanwhile, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the death of Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Sheikh Khalifa expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, praying to Allah to bestow mercy on the soul of the deceased.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and General Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar cables of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Saudi Press Agency, SPA, quoted the Royal Court's statement as saying that funeral prayers will be performed at the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah on Saturday following Isha (evening) regular prayer on Saturday.

Saudi people, Arab and Islamic nations as well as the world at large are well aware of the great work the deceased has offered over five decades to serve his religion, homeland and nation with utmost devotion and sincerity at the expense of his personal health, the statement added,ppealing to Allah almighty to reward him a comfortable place in paradise for the good deeds he has done for his religion and nation.
