Saudi doctors save man shot in genitals

Saudi doctors saved a man who was brought with serious injuries after he was shot three times in the genitals, a newspaper reported on Friday.

Two bullets pierced into his back and came out of the front thigh while one settled in his genitals, ‘Sada’ said in a report from the Southern Jizan province.

“We succeeded in removing the bullet from that sensitive part of his body and repairing arteries and other blood tissues. The patient is now in a stable condition,” the paper said, quoting surgeon Gazi Al Nabulsi.

It did not identify the patient or say how he was shot.
