Authorities say two small planes collided as they were trying to land in Maryland.
The ‘Carroll County Times’ reports that at about 4 pm Saturday the wings of two planes clipped each other in the air above the at Carroll County Regional Airport.

The Maryland State Police says there were no injuries reported, but the pilot of one of the planes was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Police say the pilot of an Aerobatic Biplane didn't see a Piper Single low-wing plane and struck the aircraft as it was preparing to land. Police say the Piper made a safe landing on the runway, while the Aerobatic made a hard landing on a grassy field next to it.
