Bomb threats force PIA to make emergency landing

Pakistan's state-owned airline says a second flight has received a bomb threat but landed safely in Malaysia.

Pakistan International Airlines earlier said a flight to Manchester from Pakistan made an emergency landing in Turkey.

PIA spokesman Mashood Tajwar said on Wednesday a second PIA flight from Islamabad to Kuala Lumpur also received abomb threat.

It landed in Kuala Lumpur and all 176 passengers disembarked safely.

PIA spokesman Mashood Tajwar did not say how the threat was delivered, but a local television station said it was bye mail.
