8-year-old helps deliver baby brother

An Oklahoma third-grader got a crash course in the "birds and the bees" when he helped his mom deliver his baby brother over the weekend.

Kimberly Tennyson knew she was close to giving birth early morning, but she thought she had still a couple days.

"2 o'clock in the morning I had no idea he was coming, none whatsoever, until I had contractions," said Kimberly Tennyson.

Kimberly went into labor unexpectedly, and without enough time to get to the hospital. So her 8-year-old son Demarray stepped in. He helped deliver his little brother while Kimberly's grandmother talked her through labor.

Both mom and the new baby are doing just fine.
