67-year-old woman dies in go-kart crash

Police were investigating an incident in which a 67-year-old California woman was killed after veering into traffic while test-driving a go-kart at a swap meet, the Orange County Register reported.

Hwa Oh, of Fullerton, was driving the vehicle in the parking lot of the indoor swap meet in Stanton, California about 6pm when she lost control and ran through some bushes, across a sidewalk and into the path of a car, KTLA reported.

The woman was rushed to a hospital but was dead on arrival.

The accident was still being investigated and police said the driver of the vehicle which struck Oh would not be cited.
