Woman gives birth at McDonald's

McDonald's will always have a special place in the heart of a mother in Indiana – she gave birth in the fast food restaurant's parking lot.

Inside the Hopspital for Women, new mother Candace Mockobee gazes into her duaghter's eyes and says she sees the Golden Arches.

"It might be her favourite place now," says Mockabee with a smile.

Not due until December 17, Mockobee said she started feeling contractions Tuesday afternoon. As they got closer she called her parents to come pick her up from work. Apparently, they were too late. Her father had to pull over in the McDonald's parking lot.

Mockabee said after that, it wasn't long before the baby decided it was time to meet her.

"Ten minutes, it was a short ten minutes. I felt the push and I was like whoa and she was in pants leg and I was like what am I going to do."

Mother and baby are scheduled to go home December 2.
