Dead lizard in a chicken meal

What would you do if you are enjoying a fried chicken meal and discover that some of the stuff you have eaten is just parts of a dead lizard.

Your first reaction could be to feel sick before getting mad at the restaurant.

That was the case of a Saudi family who wanted to enjoy a chicken meal at a local restaurant during a weekend picnic. Half way through the big meal, the father discovered that some of the legs in the dish were for a lizard, whose body was already half eaten by the hungry family.

“After we had a large part of the meal, I suddenly saw parts of the lizard legs and body,” said the father, Suwaid Al Dousari.“My temperature suddenly went up and I swore at the workers.... all my family members started to throw up while some of them suffered from giddiness and exhaustion.”

In its report from the central town of Wadi Al Dawasir, Sabq newspaper said Dousari phoned authorities who sent inspectors and fined the restaurant.

“They just fined the restaurant but did not take any measure to shut it.”ends
