Job applicants in Chile have never been through a more harrowing experience. Four applicants who made their way to an interview with LG Electronics' in Chile were scared out of their lives when the firm played a nasty trick on them using an 84-inch ultra high-definition TV screen and a fake meteor crash.

The fake job interview of the two men and women was filmed by the firm and later made into a not-so-amusing television ad for their massive 84-inch ultra high-definition television.

The ad takes the audience through setting up the television screen in the fake interview room, the actual interview of the unfortunate candidates, the meteor crash and the explosion of the city. The lights in the room are also switched off to add more suspense to the drama.

The interviewees can be seen freaking out in the dark for a few moments till the lights are switched on and the entire plot is revealed to the candidates.

A report in Daily Mail suggests that such marketing gimmicks are known as prankvertisement.

The video clip was posted on Monday and it has already been viewed more than 1,296,610 times so far.
