The International Cricket Council (ICC) has requested all players sign an anti-corruption declaration as part of its attempt to ensure integrity in the game.
Chief executive Haroon Lorgat said on Saturday that the ICC has sent an advisory to all members “about the need to root out corruption”, which requests players sign a one-off declaration before their next international match.
The ICC’s Pakistan Task Team has also reminded the Pakistan Cricket Board to encourage its players to share relevant information about corruption in the game.
Three Pakistan players, Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, have been provisionally suspended by the ICC following allegations that they accepted money to bowl no-balls during a test against England.
