Ukraine's Dykan doubtful for Euros with fractured skull

Ukraine goalkeeper Andriy Dykan may be ruled out of Euro 2012 after fracturing his skull on Saturday playing for Spartak Moscow against Zenit St Petersburg in their 2-1 Russian top-flight defeat.

The 34-year-old - who also suffered concussion in the clash with a Zenit player - is in hospital and is being treated by a neurosurgeon, Spartak's official website (https://spartak.com/main/news/23591/)  said.
Dykan's injury has deepened the goalkeeping crisis in the Ukraine squad following a two-year suspension for Shakhtar Donetsk's Olexandr Rybka for the use of a banned diuretic.

Ukraine, who co-host June's European Championship with Poland and face England, France and Sweden in Group D, may be forced to turn to Bohdan Shust and Andriy Pyatov given Olexandr Shovkovskiy is now their only fit experienced keeper.
