Ahmed cracks ton as Multiplex post easy win in Sharjah Ramadan Cup

A breezy century by Waqas Ahmed (101) helped Multiplex International post a comfortable 92-run victory over Ramada Ajman in the 27th Sharjah Ramadan Cup at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The tournament is organised by Sharjah Cricket Council.

Opting to bat first, Multiplex International amassed 230 for four in 20 overs with openers Ahmed and Sapandeep Singh smashing 84 off just 6.1.

Ahmed smashed 10 sixes and five boundaries in his 50-ball knock while Akhlaq Butt’s entertaining 67 came off only 36 balls.

Chasing, Ramada Ajman got off to a terrible start losing three wickets for just 25 runs and could only reach 138 for nine.
