Dubai Racing Club launches Fantastic Foto Contest

Horseracing has long provided some of the most captivating images in the sporting arena and now Dubai Racing Club (DRC) is offering fans the chance to capture a photo that sums up the excitement of a night at the races.

Race fans who share their best image with Dubai Racing Club could be in with the chance of winning two tickets to the Dubai World Cup on March 29, 2014.

The rules are simple - attend a night of racing; take an image that captures the atmosphere of the evening, send it to media@dubairacingclub.com.

DRC will upload the best images to their Facebook page. The image with the most ‘likes’ will end up in the winner’s enclosure.

Dates of the contest:  November 7 and 22; December 5 and 19 - there will be four separate contests for each of the race programmes. Each of the four separate winners will be  awarded a pair of DWC tickets.

To enter fans must submit their photos that were shot during one of the four stated race nights. Photos are to be sent to the email: Media@dubairacingclub.com – photos should be low resolution not to exceed 1 MB maximum. All entries must include the contestant’s full name and email address.

One entry per person and previous winners will not be allowed to enter again.  The contest is open to the public, ages 21 and older.

Photos must be emailed and submitted within one week of the race meeting.

November 14 (11:59 pm) for the November 7 meeting

November 28 for the November 21 meeting

December 12 for the December 5 meeting

December 26 for the December 19 meeting

Judging:  The top three photos from the race meeting will be placed on the Dubai Racing Club Facebook page. The general public will then vote on the images by submitting their likes for the best photo.

Announcement of winner:  Winners will be announced on Facebook and will be notified by email.

Prizes:  Two Apron View tickets for the Dubai World Cup, March 29, 2014.
